PGPIC to launch 4 major petrochemical projects by late Mar. 2024
TEHRAN - Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) is going to launch four major projects by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2024), the managing director of the company said.
Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 17th International Exhibition of Plastic, Rubber, Machinery, and Equipment (IRAN PLAST 2023) on Sunday, Abdolali Ali-Asgari said: “The Hengam Urea and Ammonia complex, Apadana and Arghavan Gostar complexes in Ilam Province and Sadaf Petrochemical complex will go operational by the end of this year.”
He put the PGPIC’s total output since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21) at 12.3 million tons, noting that the company’s production has increased by seven percent compared to the previous year’s same period.
